What's the meta in TA right now?
Yo, been camping in HA for a while, just wondering what's been ran in TA these days?
Particually for Rangers.
I'm guessing it's prolly some dual monk shit, hexgay and good ole' bal still?
Also in Bal is ranger still the
[Magebane Shot] [Debilitating Shot] [Hunters Shot] [Distracting Shot] [Apply Poison] [Natural Stride] [Remove Hex]Lightning or Remove Hex[Lightning Reflexes] [Resurrection Signet]
[Burning Arrow]

i think most rangers replace apply with something else because of the abundance of [foul feast][plague sending].
i'm only saying this from what i think i read somewhere recently, so idk.

the meta(s) or better, the most common builds are:
-3 eles (mind blast with distortion) or 2 eles with either a nec, a ranger or a mesmer and a pnh/woh monk
-standard "balanced" with ff, magebane or ba, woh or pnh and axe evisc or dev hammer
-hexway with mantra mesmer, enraged lunge, zb/woh monk
-dual warr with nec
-smite monk with ion cannon (yay), woh monk and sins or just 2 normal healers and 2 melees
-randomways

Occasionally PnH monk or domi mesmer, otherwise pretty much the same. Also MB eles + mantra hexways emerged but it's usually not that big deal.

Yeah but who needs a skill balance when they are adding a zoo!!!
With a zoo we can all...uh....um, well I don't really know what the point of the Zoo is at all. Stand around looking at pets maybe? Anyway it should have a huge impact on the game balnce and mechanics once its implemented otherwise why would they do it? Right?
YAY for May Skill balance!?!?!?

It's okay, Guild wars is a balanced game. All they need to do is remove one or two overpowered skills (Dshot, Power Block) and the game will be perfect. PvE is more important to the game because it brings in more customers and is harder to play. The huge number of PvE titles compared to PvP show how much more diverse the gameplay is.

What are exactly the builds used in the hexway team? This team seem really owerpowered, are there any known working counters?

Dual hex removal on your monk. At least one hex removal on your ranger (/Me or /Mo). If they have Mantra of Resolve on their mesmer, you can try and remove it using Whirling Axe, Wild Blow, Wild Throw. Their Apply Poison should not get up. Your opening veil work has to be tight, you probably won't recover if you lose ground.

They added the zoo because pets are going to get the shit buffed out of them in a few months, and then they'll be promptly nerfed after Anet realizes what a bad idea it was. The zoo will still be around though.

Echo Ride The Lightning is actually pretty big right now. An organized and decent team can beat any RA/TA team easily if their smart about it. If you bring 1 monk, the monk cant keep 3 people including himself up. If you bring two monks, once again you still take too much damage. The only thing that really just destroys RTLway are Prot monks and good mesmers with Diversion and such (The ele's have Mantra Of Resolve, so no interupting their attack chain :'()

RTL Builds are for scrubs, they only widen the TA garden for bigger scrubs to harvest.
Just play balance, practice with it and you'll consistently pump 50< cons.

Balanced is booooring, it works well, so I don't argue you, and it will also make you a better player then playing tele-gank crap, but for every W/M/N/R team I see i'll kill a puppy from now on.
I played TA with all kinds of goofy crap, because it takes so little time to set up a team, We DID get rolled after a win or 5 so it wasn't overly effective, but I lol'd big time.
